...However, the differences between standard and custom work are not as clear-cut as one might assume. The reason is that each of their standard home plans can serve as more of a beginning point than as a final destination via customization by the client.
"It is basically custom homes at a tract price," explains Tim. "We set it up for a tract style, but then they [the homeowner] get to customize it." For example, one popular floor-plan change within the standard plans is to move walls to reconfigure interior space. If a family needs a significantly larger living room more than the extra bedroom, this can be easily accomplished. Perhaps a larger dining area is required? This can also be done.
"The options are truly endless; it is really up to the buyer's imagination," Tim states.
